About the Authors

DR. DENISE WOOD has a Master’s of Arts Degree in Counseling and Psychology and a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Wood opened her Minnesota-based Wood Counseling Services LLC in 2006. A lifelong athlete, she taught aerobics for Bally’s U.S. Swim & Fitness for twenty years and is an avid skier, biker, rock climber, and scuba diver.

SUSIE GARCIA, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, is a weight management expert and former Culinary Institute of America nutrition and food safety instructor who operates her private nutrition practice, Nutrition for Your Lifestyle, in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she works with clients to help them change how they think about food. She likes to keep healthy through running, resistance exercise, and practicing yoga.
